Thankful for the Savior!
This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
"He took up our infirmities
and carried our diseases."
Matthew 8:17
The leper came with a need and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." The Centurion came with a need - the suffering of his servant. Jesus, amazed at the Centurion's humility, healed the servant. Peter's mother-in-law had a fever. Jesus touched her and the fever left. Many were brought to Jesus and He healed them.
On this Thanksgiving Eve I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus that heals. I am one being healed by the powerful words of Jesus. I am one whom Jesus has taken and carried my infirmities and diseases. And when I think that He's got to be tired of this, Jesus says "I am willing!"
Thank You, Lord, for being a willing Savior. Thank You for being my Liberator, my Healer, my Redeemer and my Friend. Amazing...
