What To Do?

"What should we do then?" the crowd asked.

Luke 3:10

John said to those coming out to be baptized by him, "Who warned you to escape the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance." His baptism was one of repentance, but just being submerged in water doesn't mean much. There needs to be a life that reflects the change of heart that brings one to repentance. So the people naturally say: "What should we do then?" The Tax Collectors asked: "What should we do?" The Roman Soldiers also asked: "What should we do?" John gave them all marching orders, practical and meaningful things that would demonstrate repentance.

What should I do? Thinking and believing the 'right stuff' isn't enough. What should I DO?

Thank you, Lord, for meeting with me. Thank you for the practical and meaningful things I can do to show my heart for You and Your Kingdom. Be glorified in and through my life today, I pray, in the Name of Jesus.
