Lost It?

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.

Mark 8:35

What does losing my life for Jesus and for the gospel look like? Have I done that to any degree? Really done that.. really lost my life?

Salvation comes by losing. Winning comes through forfeit.

Lord Jesus, remind me of whom I am and give me boldness – to never be ashamed of You or Your words in this generation and to joyfully lose my life for Your gospel is my prayer this day.
