A Blog Sabbatical

As I wrote about a couple of days ago, our Elders are sending me on a sabbatical. Today is actually Day 1. I have many varied goals for this summer, but writing here is not one of them. Devouring God's Word is my intention, but I plan to give this blog a sabbatical.

One of the things I have been thinking about is a 'Media Fast.' How much media (TV, Internet, newspaper, etc.) to consume or not - and what would it be like to simply go without all of those things. How much time would be saved and energy allowed to give to other things? I've been thinking about that... so, no blogging this season.
